OUR STORY
A small beginning.
A growing engineering business.
Our story began in a garage in 2000. From a small working space, Allbest Engineering started on a much smaller scale than the business you see today.
As the business grew, so did the need for machinery, working space and storage. Each stage of expansion supported a different part of the work, from general engineering to a dedicated CNC shop. The milestones below trace that development.
Today, Allbest Engineering brings together precision engineering, general engineering and manufacturing. Our workshops support both the making of new components and the repair or modification of existing parts, serving customers with a wide range of practical engineering requirements.

Growing with the work.
From a garage start to space for machining, manufacturing and repairs.

A garage beginning
Allbest Engineering was established in 2000 and started in a garage. This was the beginning of a business that would grow beyond its original working space and develop into the engineering workshops we operate today.

Room to grow
As the business grew, the garage could no longer provide the space we needed. In December 2004, we moved from the garage into our first industrial workshop in Killarney Gardens. Further growth led to a second workshop, giving the business more room to work.

A dedicated CNC shop
The next stage of our expansion was a third workshop dedicated to CNC machining. Having a separate CNC shop provided space for this part of the business alongside our general engineering work, bringing CNC milling and turning into a dedicated working area.

More machines and storage
We later expanded into a fourth workshop to accommodate more machines and storage. From one industrial workshop to four, each move has added the space needed for the business to develop, with room for engineering equipment, machining and the materials and components that accompany the work.
THE PEOPLE BEHIND THE WORK
Two owners.
Allbest Engineering has two owners and brings together a range of practical engineering skills across the business.
Together, we support CNC milling and turning, conventional machining, surface grinding, welding, fabrication and engineering repairs for industrial, commercial, marine and private customers.
Our work brings together a range of engineering skills. That variety matters in a workshop where one requirement may involve machining a component, while another calls for fabrication, welding or a repair.
BACKUP POWER
Equipped to keep working.
Our 110 kVA generator allows us to continue working during load shedding and power failures.
Engineering work depends on power for machinery and workshop equipment. Load shedding and unexpected power failures can interrupt that work, which is why backup power forms part of our workshop setup.
The generator provides an alternative power source when the mains supply is unavailable. It is a practical part of supporting our day-to-day work and reducing the disruption caused by electricity outages.
WHAT WE DO TODAY

From a custom-machined component to fabrication or an engineering repair, our work is shaped by what the customer needs the part or project to do.
Our capabilities include CNC milling and turning, conventional lathe work and milling, surface grinding, welding, fabrication and custom component manufacturing. We also undertake structural work, marine engineering.
Welding, bending and custom fabrication
Our welding and fabrication work includes MIG and TIG welding on mild steel, aluminium, stainless steel and other materials. We also bend pipes, flat bar and square bars, supporting projects that need shaped material as well as welded components.
We build custom steel chairs for clients and take on a range of other general welding needs. From a chair design to a fabrication requirement, you can bring us your ideas, dimensions or drawings to discuss the work and materials involved.
We work with customers in marine and shipping, food, cranes, structural and other industrial sectors, alongside commercial businesses and private individuals. You do not need to represent a large company to discuss an engineering requirement with us.
